We’re developing a new type of products because we stand for a better future. We believe that building machines to solve our problems is a thing of the past. Instead, we want to craft products that have true sustainability at their core because we think we can do better than just “less negative of an impact”.

We actually think there is no other way forward and that it will always resonate with our customers. Internal: we want to think deeply about what we do and how we interact with others.

We’re a no bullshit company. We’re operating in a very complex scientific space, trying to make the impossible inevitable. If we want to get there as quickly as possible, we cannot waste time focusing on the wrong things. Always seek for honest feedback, always say what you think, be transparent as it gets, but always communicate in a kind manner.

We believe the best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them. We trust you to always try to do the right thing. We trust you to give your best shot at what you do. We trust you in your inspirations and decisions. We trust each other when we decide to go in one direction. Trust is the strongest foundation of any exceptional team and is a must to overcome the challenges ahead of us.

As a company, we stand for a great impact in this world and we cannot make this happen if we are not in the right mindset. We should be dedicated to our mission and long term goals, no matter how hard it gets, no matter what comes up on the way, because we care. Just as athletes or great thinkers, we fight for something that matters and that is hard to get. So we train hard, we work harder, and we make things happen, with more determination and more grit than others.

We don’t think it’s fine to have crazy ideas, think beyond the status quo, make unexpected connections and constantly look for new ways. We think it’s GREAT and NECESSARY. So never be afraid to have a different idea, weird is fantastic. We love weird, we love crazy and we’ll always empower you to fuel your creativity.

Since Day 1, speed of execution has been one of our most valuable assets. Synbio at the pace of software is not possible, but we can learn from that: robust planning, agility and productivity tools are welcome. We work smart, and we get shit done.
